1. Who We Are
BrokenGadgets.in is operated by Navigo Tech Solutions, Chennai, India. We run India's first peer-to-peer marketplace for single earbuds and gadget spare parts. Contact us at support@brokengadgets.in.
2. What We Collect
Account data: Name and email address from Google Sign-in.
Listing data: Brand, model, photos, condition, and price you provide when listing a part.
Transaction data: Payment references via Razorpay (we never store card numbers).
Contact data: Phone number and city, provided voluntarily for buyer alerts.
Usage data: Pages visited, search queries (anonymised), browser type. Collected to improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Data
To match buyers with sellers and send email notifications when a match is found.
To process payments securely through Razorpay escrow.
To arrange shipping via Delhivery or Shiprocket.
To send service emails (listing confirmed, buyer found, payment released).
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails without consent.
4. Data Sharing
We share the minimum necessary data with: Razorpay (payment processing), Google (sign-in and advertising), and Delhivery / Shiprocket (shipping labels). All are governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Closed listings are anonymised after 12 months. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your Rights
Under Indian IT Rules 2011 and applicable data protection laws, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Email us and we will respond within 7 business days.
7. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We also use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to serve advertising.
8. Advertising
This site displays ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
